Edge Club and Lounge (Closed Permanently)

(19 Ratings)
Dance club popular with college-age to early 30s crowd
Rooftop patio on Tuesdays and Sundays during summer. "Sexy Friday"; "Dance Fever Saturday"; and Sunday Cabaret drag shows. Expect to pay a bit more for drinks and the cover, but the dance music is usually good, and the weekends are crowded. Sauna 63 bathhouse in same building complex to hit a home run if you strike out at the bar.

Ottawa's Shame

Covet charge to get in is insane and lineups are long and move slowly. The crowd is mostly 18 to 20 and even often underaged. The staff is rude and more intent on chatting and serving friends. The dance floor is huge and crowded yet the Ac never seems to work.

Far far far too much attitude.

Ottawa is a beautiful city, and most of the people are super nice. But it seems as if all the assholes ended up in this particular place.

Edge

Not my favorite place by far but a good dance space. Crowd is usually quite young with a bit of attitude and the gay guys bring a bunch of girlfriends so youre sometimes outnumbered. Staff have never been too friendly either but if you really want a big dance floor this is the place.
