Capital Pride
"Fierté dans la Capitale"
Ottawa's Capital Pride, often recognized as Fierté dans la Capitale Pride, is a one-week event that takes place during the third week of August. The week is filled with over 20 events, including sporting events, a popular Rainbow Parts, and of course, the Pride Parade. During Pride Weekend, the Pride Village springs up at the intersection of Bank Street and Somerset Street West. That weekend also sees the Ottawa Pride Parade take over the streets of Downtown.
