Can story-telling inspire intergenerational connections in LGBTQ+ communities?
For this event, we welcome gay, bi, and queer guys (trans and cis) of all ages and backgrounds that are open to sharing stories.
In our time together, those that have prepared something to share can read aloud to the group. We will take time at the end to discuss themes, ideas, and shared experiences to seek a better understanding of how our histories have shaped our relationships, our communities, and our lives (...

YOU DON’T HAVE TO WRITE ANYTHING! We encourage everyone to participate in the conversation.
To get you thinking:
-Tell us a story of a time that you came out, or of one of your most memorable experiences.
-Write a poem about love or loss (and everything in between).
-Make us laugh, cry, cringe, and think.
-Give us perspective.
-What does being gay, bi, or queer mean to you, and how has that shaped who you are?
-Who is the most influential person in your life?
-How have you experienced oppression?
-Where do you find community?
-What were you like as a kid?
Let’s talk about it… Then & Now.
Mocktail bar will be open!
